Original caption: (FILES) A picture dated 21 November 1994 shows a French UN soldier and a woman giving first aid to a Bosnian soldier shot by a sniper bullet on Sarajevo's so-called "Sniper avenue". The Bosnian soldier died seconds later. Ten years after the declaration of Bosnia's independence from former Yugoslavia, which triggered the brutal 1992-95 war as Belgrade-backed Bosnian Serbs rejected to be cut off from the Serb-dominated federation, the country remains divided along ethnic lines.
